Departmental Honors

院系荣誉是在毕业时颁发给一小群高年级学生的. 那些被授予荣誉的人是根据他们对人文学科的贡献来选择的, social sciences, and arts; the quality of their academic programs; the excellence of their grades; and in recognition of their contributions to the department and their fellow students.

Students may be nominated for the award by individual department faculty; the full department meets to discuss the nominees and arrive at a selection. The award is presented at the close-of-school Awards Ceremony in May; it includes a check for $1,500美元，并在系办公室附近的一块牌匾上题词.
